My Bio
Hello Kurolings, I'm Dan Genesis. I'm a writer. I've been writing for, gods has it really been 10 years now? I'm kind of a variety writer, though a lot of my work tends to gravitate towards future-fantasy settings I do actually own a copyright for a novel I wrote throughout high school, but I am in the process of re-writing it from the ground up. I'm also scripting a few comics which will get drawn eventually by more skilled hands than mine. Top of the list is the eponymous "KuroKomix", following the adventures of Kuro, Shiro, Alex, and AJ in their fight for freedom. Others in production currently follow the escapades of the same four and others from different realities - Four Elements, with the four being a band that finds themselves involved with supernatural powers; Starblood, in which they are renegades from an Imperial space military; and Magicka Amarantha, which follows their exploits as part of a Mage guild.

I have also created Let's Plays for viewing on our YouTube channel, with the help of my close friends DarkEvisceration, Shadow51311, and Outrag3dCr4wd4d. Reviews of the games we've played will start popping up here when I stop being lazy about it.

As for me personally, I'm both an anarchist and an existentialist. I believe in the overall good in humanity and that we can each find our own truths and happiness without destroying one another.

Oh, and for the record, my handle does indeed come from the Sega Genesis. During my days of playing Halo Reach and Halo 4, I used "Gens" - the name of a popular Genesis emulator - as my tag.

Unless otherwise noted, Journal entries will be written by yours truly, while artwork is drawn by Outrag3dCr4wd4d.

Ocarina of Time is hailed as one of the greatest games of all time. It was the first game to ever get a perfect score from Famitsu. It, along with Super Mario 64, helped to make a standard for 3D games. But for some, Ocarina of Time is no longer the challenge it used to be. That's where Master Quest comes in. Prior to the 3DS release of Ocarina of Time, Master Quest had a rather limited release. Master Quest is exactly what the name suggests. It is intended for people that hold quite a bit of experience with Zelda game and Ocarina of Time in particular. While the overworld is exactly the same as before (thought the 3DS version mirrors the ga

Every so often, you get a new IP out on the video game market. Sometimes one just stands out as ridiculously funny. Such is the case with Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. The premise of the game is downright comical from the very beginning: Prince Ash, the titular Dead Rabbit, has a fascination with - of all things - Rubber Duckies. Naturally, being the one in charge of Hell, he's basically a celebrity, and his ducky fetish leaks to the public. His solution? Kill all the monsters that saw the pictures. And that's how Hell Yeah! gets rolling. The game is a colorful, crass platformer game running through a multitude of environments. The g

Oh, dear Gamecube. Much like the Dreamcast, many of its titles went unappreciated for their time, only to later be completely vindicated by history. Luigi's Mansion, one of the launch titles for the system, was certainly no exception. Luigi's Mansion was certainly an interesting concept, though not a new one - it builds off the same idea of an earlier game called "Mario is Missing!", which places Luigi as the hero of the story on a quest to find his brother Mario. Oh, and I feel this bears mentioning - you guys remember the Mario Bros. Movie? Where they said their names were "Mario Mario", and "Luigi Mario"? Apparently, as of writing this, t
